  • Oppose - the Premier League itself still just says 'Next Gen Cup', so I imagine the Indian sources are saying 'PL' for informational/marketing purposes only (to align with the Premier League). This is reflected in other Indian sources which say 'Premier League Next Gen Cup', much like somebody saying 'English FA Cup' or similar. GiantSnowman 09:18, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
