History

File:Oakridge International School.JPG The school is one of the earliest IB world schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and was established by educationist, Shomie Das, an alumnus of The Doon School, on the concept of smart schools in 2001. The school started on 11 June 2001 in rented premises in Jubilee Hills.[1]

On 24 June 2002 the campus moved to

Hyderabad. The new campus covers 5.1 acres (21,000 m2) and was inaugurated by the former chief minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu.[2]
. The school has over 3000 students.

I have reverted Learnois' changes here. Most of the content was unsourced (e.g. "one of the earliest IB world schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana" or "on the concept of smart schools") or outright contradicted by the given sources (the acreage). The only content I removed in the revert that was sourced was the founder's being "an alumnus of The Doon School"; there was no indication how that's relevant to Oakridge International School and it should better be covered in our article on the founder himself (and it indeed is).
