Plot summary strikes me as overly long and detailed. danzig138 (talk) 09:52, 21 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Template placed. Wiki recommendation is 600-800 words I believe; this has 1546. 12.233.147.42 (talk) 19:26, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've made two passes, reducing it by c. 500 words, but it could use attention from someone who's actually seen the film. I could easily remove something that was presented as a minor detail that is actually a major plot point. 12.233.147.42 (talk) 21:10, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Genre

The article said this was "a supernatural mystery thriller film" but

WP:FILMGENRE
says to try and stick to the primary genre. Looking at the article history supernatural was the last added, so it seems it should be the first to go.
What do the sources say? Rotten Tomatoes: Mystery & Thriller, Comedy, Fantasy[1]; Metacritic: Mystery, Thriller, Horror, Comedy[2]; Box Office Mojo: Comedy Fantasy Horror Mystery Romance Thriller[3]; The-Numbers.com Comedy[4]; Variety: fantasy-comedy-thriller[5]. Well that is about as clear as mud. (From reading several reviews it seems to be a horror with a bit of comedy.)

I'm going to remove the extra supernatural genre because listing three genres makes for needlessly overcomplicated prose, but I don't think I could get it down to to get it down to just one genre so I'll leave the other two for now. -- 109.77.206.37 (talk) 11:41, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
