I think the “subspecies” section could be deleted because the content is insufficient to be an entire section and you’ve already mentioned the same information in the “geographic range” section. Besides, for the mechanism of the fog-basking behavior, I think it would be better if you could explain more about the hydrophobic hypothesis, as you’ve explained much about the counterpart. Nevertheless, the structure of the “fog-basking behavior” section is very logical and organized, starting from behavior to mechanism, and finally to function. The “Confusion with Stenocara gracilipes” section is very helpful. If possible, you can add more details on how to differentiate the two species. In addition, it would be better if you could write some impacts of the beetles, like whether they are pests, and how they affect the environment, livestock, and humans. Made grammar edits to improve the flow of the introduction. Changed “a T___” to “the” and reworked the second sentence. I rephrased the opening line in the second paragraph to make it flow better from the first. I also made some minor grammar edits in the remaining sentences. I would delete the information about it being confused with that other beetle and put it in a later section. It kind of distracts from the topic of Fog basking. I would also relate the thing you said in the last sentence of the second paragraph more to what you were saying earlier. Yes, that technique is used in many parts of the world but is it used by animals or by humans and how does that relate to this beetle. I would add a line at the end of the Habitat section reiterating why these conditions are ideal for your beetle. I would add the line about the beetle being confused with the other beetle in the appearance section right before you describe it. You can elaborate on their similar features in that section too. I just added a subsection header underneath the "Mating" section as well as changed the wording of another header for the "Behavior" section. Additionally, I just rearranged the order of a few of the sections. I rearranged the order of the section "Confusion with Stenocara gracilipes" as well as the "Behavior" section so that the entry flowed better and so that it was more organized.
