Sentence not clear
The sentence "Some oxidation reactions, such as those involving monoamine oxidase or xanthine oxidase, typically do not involve free molecular oxygen." is not clear. I don't know what the author intended to say, but I read it as monoamine oxidase and xanthine oxidase do not require Oxygen (O2) to function, which clearly is not true.
