Excess image

Once the article gets big enough to have room for it, this could be put back.

I recommend putting it back as is; it puts the location into context with the nearest large cities. Georgewilliamherbert 08:03, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Except, of course, Point Reyes Station isn't even on the map, meaning it has no context whatsoever in relation to the nearest large cities which aren't on the map either. So, basically, the only way it would be useful would be if the reader already knew where Point Reyes Station, San Francisco, and (presumably) San Rafael were on the map -- and if they already knew, they wouldn't need the map to begin with.

So, on second thought, it's utterly useless here.

Still excess, though this time at least it's applicable:

Map of Point Reyes Station and San Francisco region

This is not a stub article. It's got 100 words of locally specific content, beyond the census tract boilerplate stuff. Georgewilliamherbert 02:32, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One hundred words? Call the

WP:FAC
people, this baby is ripe.

Fine, Perry Mason, it's not a stub, it's instead a very short article -- one that doesn't have a lot of space to spare for excess images. --Calton | Talk 04:13, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And deleting content (one image == 1000 words, right?) helps with its shortness how exactly? Georgewilliamherbert 07:32, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Problem was resolved with a more focussed landsat image, since this debate.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 18:42, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
