Past two or three years
The phrase "in the past two or three years," isn't very useful without something to indicate when the article (or at least when the phrase) was written. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.144.20.254 (talk) 16:20, 27 November 2006
Subculture?
Is "rockabilly" really a "subculture"? The
- I'd say so. Lots of people live the rockabilly "lifestyle" by relating most everything in their day to day life with the music, fashion, and mindset of the music they enjoy much in the same way goths and punks do. - And sound more encyclopedic. I like the "dominating unruly follicles" but it isn't encyclopedic. I'd rewrite but don't want to spend the time on a statement that needs citing. Cburnett 19:48, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Cleaning
I don't know if this deserves going in the article, but if you want to get stuff like this out of your hair fast, condition it before shampooing, then rinse and then wash normally. comes out in one pass normally :-) dreamcatcher23 17:52, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- I also found that using dish soap and olive oil breaks up oil-based pomades really well! Johnchung89 (talk) 21:25, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
"O Brother, Where Art Thou?"
Anyone have any issues to perhaps a "Popular Culture" or somesuch segment, discussing the fact that Fancy Dan's Pomade is an important plot point in this film? WookMuff (talk) 02:49, 22 August 2011
- I was just about to make the same comment -- I'd actually never heard the term until I saw that movie! Jdrum00 (talk) 20:33, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
