No longer a redirect

Hey there, I brought back this article from a redirect, since sources consider this a separate genre from glam metal. Plus, there's several modern bands tagged as pop metal that are typically not associated with glam metal, so I think having this article here should clear up some of that confusion. I have listed some in the article with sources. I will continue work here in the near future. MoonJet (talk) 01:49, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Curated page through on the strength of the term "pop-metal" being used by Allmusic, rolling stone, Stereogum and others. Regards. Hughesdarren (talk) 12:31, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

other groups that can be added

after the revival of metal in late 2010's and usage of metal songs in popular culture (ex. Master of Puppets by Metallica in Stranger Things) new metal bands can be added with future research and citations from several interviews. 85.106.113.216 (talk) 19:31, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
