1302 Recipe

I find it odd that this 1302 recipe is so similar to modern English and uses the liter (American spelling) which was, according to litre, developed in 1795. The reference for it no longer exists but the wayback machine (https://web.archive.org/web/20130901153516/http://lille.guide-ville.com/en/page/potjevleesch-recipe) leaves me unconvinced of its authenticity in light of the above objections. As much as I'd like to leave it, since I have doubts on authenticity I'm removing due to lack of credible source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vile-eight (talkcontribs) 20:00, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The modern recipe on the page seems to have been copied almost verbatim from that page that was linked. I'd move it to Wikibooks:Cookbook otherwise, but I think it should just be deleted as copyvio. Dronir (talk) 13:45, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is no obvious reason for the maintenance template on the page (it seems the trigger for it was a recipe formerly on the page, but that is no longer present). As I am a beginner I hesitate to remove the template myself, but can it be removed please? Plfca (talk) 16:51, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
