Dates format

Although the dates are dead accurate, the format in which they're presented is not customary of english-speaking societies.

For example, instead of "27 February 1963" it should read "February 27, 1963". Flurry 13:43, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the '27 February 1963" format is customary in a fair number of English-speaking societies. It's also the format preferred by the United Nations, the BBC, and the Chicago Manual of Style (at least my 14th Ed). If you don't like seeing dates written that way, you can go into Special:Preferences and move the settings so the counter-intuitive comma-ridden February 27, 1963, format displays instead. –Hajor 02:27, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry that you seem not have read this before going ahead and changing all the dates. Please take a look at the "Date formatting" section of
Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers). –Hajor 16:24, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply

Pre-independence leader

Would it be OK to make a special page featuring all pre-independence governors? Something similar exist for my country (Croatia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ban_of_Croatia).

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of President of the Dominican Republic's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "cs":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 10:55, 18 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
