Reason for becoming Ruin

Does anyone know why he took on the role of Ruin? Insanity? Crispin Giles 15:00, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As I understand it, he was resentful of being sidelined in favour of other scientific advisors. I haven't read the comics in question though, there may be more to it (the article does mention Hamilton's theory about Superman draining energy from the sun). --KingAndy 00:40, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Title

Okay, I'm fairly certain that Professor Hamiliton should not be the main page for Professor Emil Hamilton. As I'm not too familiar with the movement process, would someone kindly make the move to a better suited title? --DoctorWorm7 03:17, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hamilton & Hamilton?

Okay, in the section of Smallville the article spends more time talking about Dr. Steven Hamilton (Joe Morton) than Professor Emil Hamilton and it is very unclear that it is talking about 2 diffrent people. Dr. S Hamilton is not the person who this article reffers to however, he just happens to be in the same profession and have the same last name. Considering that Emil is in Smallville, adds further to the fact that Steven is not supposed to be the same man. It's like them having a character called Dick Wayne from Gotham, who isn't the Batman and never will be, yet someone files him under Batman's wiki article. I finally get to the point by suggesting ref's to Dr. Steven Hamilton get removed and more fleshed out on Prof. Emil Hamilton, who teh article is supposed to be about. DarkMithras 13/12/2010

Ruin Redirect

Ruin (comics) redirects here. The first thing on the page is a spoiler warning so people don't accidentally read that Emil eventually becomes Ruin. If somebody comes looking for information on Ruin it's going to be pretty obvious who he is. Is there a way to reconcile those two things? Maybe have a separate, skeletal Ruin page with a spoiler warning and link to this as full article? Or just develop a full and complete Ruin article, there's not a great deal about Hamilton's MO or activities as Ruin here. --KingAndy 00:40, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply
