Carmine Coppola died of a stroke

"According to Francis Ford Coppola, Carmine Coppola died of a stroke due to the shock of the song not winning the Oscar." What are the sources of this information? There should be a "Citation needed". Carmine Coppola died on Friday, April 26 1991 (http://articles.latimes.com/1991-04-27/news/mn-642_1_carmine-coppola); and the 1991 Oscar Ceremony was on Monday, March 25, 1991. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/63rd_Academy_Awards). So unless he had a stroke on the 25th of March, had been sent to hospital and died on the 26th of April, it looks like a urban legend. Sources needed. "According to Francis Ford Coppola" looks insufficient. Where did he say that? Whom? Was it in an interview? What interview? When? Sources, please! Thank you.
