Pulmonary toilet → Pulmonary hygiene – Pulmonary toilet is an older term that has variable meaning between professions, Pulmonary hygiene is the term used to encompass all versions of pulmonary hygiene therapies. Je.rrt (talk) 22:00, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply

Support. That use of "toilet" is thoroughly outmoded. NoeticaTea? 10:14, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Support. I agree with supporting the newer term. I think the term "pulmonary toilet" should redirect here or at least be mentioned as an alternate (and older) name because it is still frequently used. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Photon.on (talkcontribs) 14:50, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Weak Support. Many sources and much of the literature do/does use the newer term, which has been around for over 30 years, and has very gradually become the commoner term. However, a subset of providers is routinely jarred by the use of the newer term, and so I would recommend that BOTH the term "pulmonary toilet" should redirect to the renamed article AND that "toilet" should continue to be mentioned as an alternate name.FeatherPluma (talk) 02:35, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
