Pusan was an Aditya, meaning one of the twelve constellations of the zodiac In Rigveda 9.67.10 he is mentioned in connection with the goat, which means the constellation Capricorn (called goat-fish by the Babylonians), which is coming before him in the course of precession. Therefore he must be identical with the constellation Aquila which closes a gap between the constellations Sagitarius and Capricorn of the zodiac.
