Deathly free fall

"Some riders will actually lift off the slide when coming down and die."
Is this actually true? 128.112.150.230 19:42, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you can't find a reference for it, then no. — Frecklefσσt | Talk 14:38, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Is this the "rampage" slide you are talking about (I think that is the name)? The one where the rider sits on a yellow plastic thing, then they drop down a few stories and shoot out across a pool with water jets in it. I heard that someone died on it many years ago and so they removed the whole thing. I tried looking for secondary sources but couldn't find any since google news only archives recent stories. 67.9.148.47 (talk) 05:19, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Having worked at the park for most of its existence, nobody has ever died on Rampage (the ride referenced above with the yellow sleds). It was removed for cost reasons associated with its operation. As for the original question, yes you will lift off the surface of the flume slightly and briefly. No, you don't die when this happens. 207.114.171.174 (talk) 08:15, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sacrament

What's up with this edit? It makes it look like Ikluft changed a whole bunch of headings to "Sacrament", which is clearly isn't what happened (look at the actual source of the page -- there is not instance of "Sacrament" in it). But the diff between the pages clearly says that's what got changed. Also it shows the sub-heading "Attractions" being changed to "Attractio", which also didn't happen. Anyone know what happened to the s/w to make it report such fallacies? — Frecklefσσt | Talk 12:32, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The diff tool seems to be having a bad day. I've seen spurious diffs elsewhere too. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. Ikluft (talk) 22:38, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
