The Bible verse link (Hosea) does not work properly.

Meaning?

It really doesn't tell us what this phrase actually means... can anyone help? Iamvered (talk) 04:25, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the verbs; sow and reap. The synonyms would be plant and harvest. When you sow small seeds, you reap a large harvest. In this case instead of seed, you are sowing wind and are getting a whirlwind in return. The assumption is that the whirlwind is destructive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 214.26.68.1 (talk) 21:19, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
