The information in this article is 1) out of date and 2) insignificant. I have implemented RMDS at a Fortune 50 bank, and it is used to drive trillions of dollars in transactions per year at our one institution.

RMDS is the fastest realtime update delivery technology in the world. That is its significance. 1.6 million updates per second per thread... there is nothing that comes close to this.

Reuters should update this article themselves to highlight this information. Specific version info is irrelevant.
