Sorry, but much of the article makes certain claims that appear, to me at least, to break the neutral point of view that one needs to follow when editing articles. Such as "the material did not suit the brothers" and "the funniest seen in the film..." and the like. I hope that such, er, suggestive remarks can be revised. ---Posted by JS on March 28, 2007

Is Gummo in his film?

Gummo Marx, of course, was the fifth Marx brother who started out with them in vaudeville, but had left the act by the time they got into the movies (he was older than Zeppo but younger than Groucho). I watched "Room Service" on AMC years ago, and I seem to remember the person introducing it saying that Gummo had a small role in this film, and that it was the only Marx Brothers film in which he appeared.
