Did this unit become the 21st Infantry Regiment (Thailand) or was it drawn from it? Machine translating the Thai version seems to lean toward this conclusion. EricSerge (talk) 16:37, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Volunteer Regiment was subsumed into the Royal Thai Army Expeditionary Division, which became the 9th Infantry Division in 1971. Not sure what the Thai version you're referring to is, but Google Translate is usually rubbish with Thai. --Paul_012 (talk) 18:16, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. It does indeed say that, but without any reference. All mentions I could find via Google appear to have been copied form that Thai Wikipedia article. I think it's probably a mistake. --Paul_012 (talk) 06:39, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
