Out source

Are any of these worth including?

I do appreciate that this source says, "But, like in the case of the original Drag Race who popularized words like “shade,” “reading,” and “realness” — to be fair, the shows did not create these slang terms but instead, helped to bring them to a wider audience — there are a few words and phrases being used on the show that some viewers might be unfamiliar with.", which I think we should incorporate into the prose. ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:31, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The "C.L.A.T." video shows yet another spelling of "oppulence". Armadillopteryxtalk 02:08, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Armadillopteryx, Thanks. Re: different spellings, I've been grouping similar spellings and sorting those alphabetically within an overall alphabetical list. I do wonder, though, if we should stick to using secondary coverage in the context of slang/terminology for different spellings. If we start listing how all these different spellings have been used in specific works, the list will get out of control. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:13, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • ashey
  • bitch
  • camp
  • dippin’
  • jelly

  • Rudemption
  • Rumacracy
  • RuMail
  • shady
  • SheMail
  • side-eye

Is Ranker a Wikipedia-appropriate source?

  • hhttps://www.ranker.com/list/best-catch-phrases-from-rupauls-drag-race/brucek

---Another Believer (Talk) 23:15, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not so sure. I couldn't find anything on their website about their editorial policy, though this explanation of how rankings work indicates that anyone can vote. The more important question to answer would be how the options get there in the first place. If we could find out that it's done with some sort of oversight, I'd say the source is probably reliable, otherwise not. Armadillopteryxtalk 23:41, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Armadillopteryx, Ok, thanks. When I have a moment I'll just list the terms here and see if we can find alternative sources for each. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:44, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted suggestions

I reverted this edit but want to acknowledge the requested additions of baloney, flazéda, and shabat shablam. Flazéda also appears at Urban Dictionary, but I'm not sure Wikipedia would consider this an appropriate source: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Flazéda. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:15, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RuPaul's Drag Race terminology → Drag Race (franchise) terminology – This page covers all of Drag Race (franchise), not only the U.S. series RuPaul's Drag Race. --Another Believer (Talk) 19:04, 12 August 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 05:18, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply
