Grammar Corrections
As part of a class assignment, I went through the synopsis and corrected the grammar. I did not notice any necessary corrections within the trivia and climax sections of the article.
Copyediting
With only slightly more effort than one expends to put the copyedit template on, one can do the actual copyediting. That having been said, I've done th best that I can and don't see what else it needs, but if you do, please feel free to do so rather than just putting the template back on. - Beg to differ. Placing a copyedit template takes five seconds; copyediting an article can take an hour or more, depending on the length and amateurishness of the article. Some people do not have the time to spend, and others would rather do a rigorous job to the whole rather than take a bash at a piece of the problem. It has nothing to do with effort. It has to do with bringing a problem article to the attention of any passersby. Ask yourself: if it's so simple and quick to copyedit every article, why is there a copyedit template? 12.22.250.4 21:29, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Plot thwarted?
When I saw the film, the bomb the saboteurs were going to use to blow up the new ship certainly did explode, but Kane's wrestling with Fry over the controls allowed the ship to get away to a point where it was not sunk. Also, the presence of the Normandie is confusing to modern audiences – it's probably the reason that one editor (at least) seems to have concluded erroneously that the plot was a success and the new Navy ship sunk. I think that's right. The battleship gets away and the capsized one was (filmed, and meant to be) the "Normandie". I remember that on a making of documentary. Bunker fox 22:40, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Synopsis
I have made a minor change. The previous version had the "Human Skeleton" explaining why he believed in the protagonist's innocence, and Pat beginning to fall for him at that point. In fact, the "Human Skeleton" delivers a speech comparing the divisions among the circus freaks to factions in contemporary politics, and it is the "Bearded Lady" who holds the deciding vote, speaks on her guess at the protagonist's innocence, and so on. 65.190.89.154 (talk) 00:16, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
