This page is deperately in need of a complete re-write and a more neutral tone. It comes across like a pamplet for the theatre. --Amadscientist 09:35, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Eaglet or Eagle theatre?
This article twice referes to the Eaglet Theatre. What? Are you perhaps refereing to the Eagle Theater?--Amadscientist 09:46, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Eaglet Distinct from Eagle
The Eagle was a Gold Rush era theater built mostly of canvas. The Old Eagle Theatre in Old Sacramento was intended as a reconstruction of the original Eagle. The Sacramento Civic Rep, under the leadership of Eleanor McClatchy, named its Eaglet Theatre in tribute to the original Eagle. The Sacramento Theater Company mainstage descends from the Eaglet, not the Eagle. Conigliarodundee 15:05, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you very much. I was not sure if that was a typo and could not find verification!--Amadscientist 09:30, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Copy Paste, Advert tone
Almost the entirety of the article is copy and pasted from the official website, as seen here. The article is outside my usual wheelhouse and I only stumbled onto the problem by following a problem IP editor (which is kind of funny actually since I've worked at STC before). SO I leave it to regular watchers to fix. Millahnna (talk) 01:22, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
