age

Which would mean that Selene herself was active during the Hyborian age. She has been suggested as the oldest mutant. The earliest other mutant known is Apocalypse, born in the 30th century BC.

Actually, the Maha Yogi from Journey Into Mystery I#96 has gotten referred to as a mutant, and his birth took place before 8250 BCE, so he would predate Apocalypse. (Doctor Strange Sorcerer Supreme#27 suggests that the Caretakers of Arcturus brought about the Maha Yogi's mutation, presumably by experimenting on Nordheimr Vanir women.)

If she really "Claims to have already been old when mankind was just emerging" wouldnt she be older than 17,000 years? Like, way, way older? Mankind (Homo sapiens) is over 200,000 years old. 2001:558:6006:28:2077:F8B9:EB08:452C (talk) 05:07, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

active?

Her latest appearance suggests that she is no longer trapped beneath the Hellfire club's headquarters.--Marhawkman 14:07, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hyborian origin

She is definitely was born during Hyborian Age. Her phrase about her era "after the Oceans swallowed Atlantis and before the rise of the Aryas" is the direct quotation of Howard's The Phoenix on the Sword — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.99.48.178 (talk) 10:33, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Underworld

@

20th Century Fox to say he was adapting the character when the film first came out, but he did not have a problem mentioning it in 2009 when it didn't look like there was going to be another film featuring the character at the time (until 2012 with Underworld: Awakening). Here is an article by Comic Book Resources that mentions it as well. Jalloween (talk) 16:49, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply

And what from all this makes you think the Underworld character should be listed in this article's film section? They aren't the same character. I don't oppose including the information somewhere in the article, but I think the best place would be a single sentence in the lead section. Argento Surfer (talk) 17:58, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. Consider it done. Jalloween (talk) 19:42, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
