Flying?

The entry for the Beatles song Flying claims that Shakermaker was heavily influenced by Flying, to the extent of being not much more than Flying with added lyrics. If that's true, it should be mentioned here; if it's not true, it shouldn't be mentioned there! 86.143.55.158 13:23, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the last line "which is also quite possible." Nonencylopaedic, now isn't it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.181.9.161 (talk) 02:39, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lawsuit

It's highly unlikely they were sued by The New Seekers since the group didn't write the song. This needs to be referenced.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 14:09, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The original demo, which you can find on youtube, included the very verse that had been used in the Coca Cola ad, but Coca Cola refused to let Oasis use that verse, and so Noel altered it to be about Sifter's record shop in Burnage. (Andrew07 (talk) 22:55, 22 March 2010 (UTC))[reply]
