I've decided to move it to sinking. Google searches indicate an order of magnitude more results for "sinking metalworking" over "doming metalworking". --Eyrian 17:25, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The term Sinking also applies to electronics where an output rather than provide power, provides a path to ground for the power that drives a device. It sinks the current.Septagram 04:39, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
