C12 LaTurbie

For some reason this model no longer appears on the model list on the official website. Does anyone know what's up with this car? Has production been stopped perhaps? BabyNuke (talk) 15:44, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Model name vs company name

The opening line of the article is: "The Spyker C8 is a sports car produced by the Dutch automaker Spyker Cars". From the web site, it looks like Spyder is the name of the model, and Spyker the name of the manufacturer. So perhaps the line should read "The Spyder C8 ...produced by...Spkyer Cars Inc." Something could be said to point out the similarity between the two names, although I suppose it doens't matter much. Pete St.John (talk) 18:19, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seems this article covers many C8 variants so the name is quite ok --— Typ932T | C  18:30, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If I look at the website, it says: "Spyker C8 Spyder". Further, the Spyder is only a specific variant of the C8. True, you could call this article simply "C8" then, but that's too short for my taste. BabyNuke (talk) 23:24, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Where to mention?

I just saw War with Jet Li and Jason Statham and the Spyker was featured in it prominently. I feel it's worth mentioning here since people who want to know about the car might be interested in seeing it in video but I don't know where in this article would be the best place to mention it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.192.104.10 (talk) 04:31, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
