Seven Years of Edits Removed??

- I also agree with you on the flowery and verbose part for encyclopedic purpose. I get that you understand the sentence and its reference. If you are willing to suggest a reworded sentence, it could be used. The baggage is related to the traditions and man made functions in churches that each reformation challenges and sought to diminish by following the bible in its traditional sense.
