How can I help?

@@AJona1992: Whoa! It's really cool that you're doing this article. I remember making the article for the song a few years ago. Is there any I can assist? =) Erick (talk) 19:29, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey =) well there is an abundance of sources for this album online, but if you come across any that are offline or require a subscription that you have access to...please bring them my way :D Also, good luck with your (well kinda) recent GA nomination! Thanks, jona(talk) 19:45, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Plus, I decided to work on this album as a celebration of the newly formed Tropical Taskforce you created =) Best, jona(talk) 19:46, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Cool! You can copy some of the text from the song article for the composition. It's crazy how having to access offline sources doesn't scare me anymore lol. The first thing I will do when I have time is go to HighBeam and e-mail you any articles that could be of help. Erick (talk) 23:28, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yo! Where's the Lo nuestro wins? Erick (talk) 19:38, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I just messaged you on Facebook lolz. Can you help me understand these certifications? It was awarded Platinum in Venzeuela and Central America, but I can't find anything on how much it sold/shipped for Central America (if that is even a real thing)? jona(talk) 19:41, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'll be right there. ;) I forgot to mention that "Nuestra Cancion" is a cover of La Mafia's song from their 1991 album "Estás Tocando Fuego". BTW, this album is giving me a huge nostalgia flashback back when I was living in New Jersey lolz. Erick (talk) 19:43, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I can't find anything on that song, all I found was AllMusic and some Spanish sources just naming it as what he was known for or he recently performed it which doesn't help haha. Yea tell me about it, it reminds me of when I was in Florida and hearing it in Christmas and New Years =) jona(talk) 19:46, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@AJona1992: You have to cite the book for this album because the online database for Spain only goes back to 2004. Erick (talk) 23:23, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

  • You could probably be a bit more descriptive in the "alt" for the album cover image
  •  Done
  • "Suavemente" (the single) was released on April 4, 1998
  •  Done
  • I understand that some red links on Wikipedia are okay, but since they are the only two in the article, I'd remove the links for "Luna Llena" and "Nuestra Canción"
  • I will be creating those articles shortly.

Lead

Paragraph 2

  • Link Billboard for the first time please to the article "Billboard (magazine)"
  • It is linked?
  • In all cases: U.S. --> US
  •  Done

Background

  • Insert a comma after "In 1996" please
  •  Done

Release and promotion

  • In all cases: U.S. --> US
  •  Done
  • Insert a comma after "On November 28" please
  •  Done
  • Rest is absolutely great! Very informative
  • Thank you

Reception

  • Link "AllMusic" in the "Review scores" box please
  •  Done

Paragraph 2

  • And, Terry Jenkins' AllMusic review is quite short (and even though the actual review is equally short), you could probably state what tracks he highlighted, since he seems to list quite a few in his review
  • Added about the mode tune AllMusic listed.

Chart history

  • In all cases: U.S. --> US
  •  Done

Paragraph 2

  • Insert a comma after "During its fifth straight week atop the Tropical Albums" please
  •  Done

Singles

Paragraph 1

  • "U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart..." --> "US Billboard Hot 100 chart..."
  •  Done

Paragraph 2

  • "U.S. radio stations..." --> "US radio stations..."
  •  Done

Paragraph 3

  • Again, I don't know if you need to the link to two non-existent singles' articles... What do you think?
  • Although this section is quite informative, it is quite long for an album page, and is usually combined with the "Promotion" section; not like there's a problem with this or anything
  • If you feel as though it is too long then I'll trim it if that's an issue?

Impact

Paragraph 1

  • In all cases: U.S. --> US
  •  Done
  • Last sentence reworded as "The lead single also became a popular tune in Mexico, where it was used in festivals around the country.[66]" please
  •  Done

Track listing

  • The "Producer(s)" column is completely empty? I don't know if this was a mistake, or...???
  •  Done
  • The "Producer(s)" column is still empty; rest is fine
  • Unfortunately, AllMusic did not provide this nor did Crespo in the booklet; it only lists the arrangers for each track instead. – jona 21:41, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have removed it. If you own the CD, perhaps you could check over it? But it's definitely fine for now! Thanks, Carbrera (talk) 02:41, 13 June 2016 (UTC).[reply]
  • Any other editions of the album?
  • There are details about the international releases of the album in the 'release' section.
  • Is the writer for "Princesita" really unknown??
  • AllMusic didn't know, but I have the CD and I added the composer.

Charts

Chart positions

  • The "US Billboard 200" should be the first chart listed here
  •  Done

Other notes

  • Is there a "Credits and personnel" section that you could add?
  •  Done
  • Also, please add a "Release history" section to the article as well
  • You could add an "External links" section that includes a link to the master copy of the album's "Discogs" page
  •  Done
  • Add "Category:1998 albums" to the list of categories please
  •  Done
