Subgenomic mRNA
Hello all, I'm not an expert on the subject, is SgRNA
Subgenomic RNA, Subgenomic mRNA or Guide RNA
?
I ask because Subgenomic RNA now redirects to Subgenomic mRNA. (I have also added SgRNA to
]
{{Nucleic acids}}
.) Kind regards, Captain n00dle\Talk 13:55, 8 January 2012 (UTC)- p.s. I don't know if there is useful information to include on this website [1] Captain n00dle\Talk 13:58, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
In fact subgenomic mRNA is called sgmRNA in literature and not sgRNA which is something totaly different. The redirection needs to be changed for subgenomic mRNA and Guide RNA#Structure. You can see an example for the usage of the abrevation here C. J.; Murtaugh, M. P.; Faaberg, K. S. (1999): Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus comparison: divergent evolution on two continents. In: Journal of virology 73 (1), S. 270–280. DOI: 10.1128/JVI.73.1.270-280.1999.
