In 1963 Susan Roces was in a movie titled : ((Sabina )) that is not listed in her filmography on her wikipedia page. In fact there is nothing listed for 1963 in her Wikipedia filmography. Hi, are there any sources published long before her death which confirm her ethnic background? I suspect that the current or recent May 2022 sources may fall under

reporting, possibly getting the information from Wikipedia, IMDb, a Google search, etc.

The current source provided[1] uses almost exactly the same wording that her Wiki page use to state before, and those claims had dubious or citation needed claims dated to May 2020. Here were the revisions as of June 2020[2] and December 2021[3]

On her ethnic background, the Panaynews source states: "Roces was born [...] to a French-American mother of Jewish descent and a mestizo father of Spanish and Chinese descent." This is almost the exact same wording her Wiki page had before it was flooded with edits due to her death. But the ethnic background claims had a dubious or citation needed tag dated to May 2020. And the claims of her family clan also did not cite any reliable sources prior to her death. "Born to a French American mother of Jewish descent and a mestizo father of Spanish[dubious – discuss] and Chinese descent, Roces is a member of one of the country's biggest clans, the Locsin family of Negros Occidental (the original origin of the clan is from Iloilo City).[citation needed]". Jesusa Purificacion Levy Sonora-Poe used the screen name Susan Roces . This is not her real name and anything related to Roces is not her real identity and cannot use to trace her family origin nor her ancestry. Her grandfather, Francisco Enriquez Levy, Sr. a Spanish American descent born in Iloilo City, Western Visayas and her grandmother was Luisa Gallo Levy. Gallo is an Italian surname and the Sonora is a Spanish origin surname. Her mother Purificacion Gallo Levy married to Jesus Tongoy Sonora, Chinese Filipino descent. Overall, I would say we need more articles about her that define her career and her achievements and here influence to the Philippine entertainment industry. We need more story about her as she worked for 5 decades. For starters, "Filmography" needs its own article. Evo1885 05:03, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
