I am a bit offended with the lack of content in this article. This film was a major milestone for the 1990's indie film movement.

use of the phrase "that's money"

Do we have some sort of reference for the "fact" that this film popularized "the use of the word "money" as a catch-all term of approval or quality"? I've never, ever heard the word "money" used this way except when people are talking about this movie. Minaker (talk) 12:16, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Budget

Was the budget for the film $250,000 or $700,000? The infobox says one thing, and the article text says another. I remember from the special features on the DVD that the director says the total budget was $250,000. I am going to change the main text to read $250,000 unless anybody objects. It was $250,000 while it was being filmed and then when they sold the film to Miramax, they spent more money (another $250k?) on music rights. That may be the cause of the ongoing discrepancies.
