Later on, it would be good to catalog the references/allusions in the bits on this album. For example, the section on daytime television includes many parodies of popular commercials and

"Unlike Carlin's future works, this album does not contain any profanity." Although mild compared to what he would do later, Take-Offs and Put-Ons does have some profanity ("How d'ya cook them damn grits? ...Doctor said it was a helluva bounce.") Just1thing (talk) 00:48, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's been two and a half years since I pointed out the album contains some profanity and no one challenged the assertion. I removed the sentence in the article a couple weeks ago. Just1thing (talk) 15:38, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
