Production

This: Toward the end of the show's life, it tackled many social issues, such as

lesbianism
, and drug abuse, which were new to Scottish Television, although not new to the ITV network.

The thing with that is High road dealt with plenty of Social issues in the mid 80s, not as had hitting as Drug abuse or

lesbianism, but Brookside never dealt with that until the 90s. The series Deffo dealt with suicide Pregnancies, affairs, attempted murder... new wifes looking after other peoples kids etc in 1986,while in 1987 it dealt with troubled marriages, alzheimer, people in debt and international espionage. In 1988 there was Tug of war over a child, Breast Caner to name a few.-Crazyseiko (talk) 16:52, 17 July 2016 (UTC)-Crazyseiko (talk) 19:07, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply
