Does anyone know what "Te Mata" means? I know this is the name of the giant from the legend, but I have no idea what "mata" would mean in this context as "mata" seems to be word with various meanings in the Maori language. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.137.247.176 (talk) 08:20, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
