Other uses of the word.

One should probably generalize on Technical Advisor as someone who provides expert or domain-specific knowledge and advice. Further, there are frequently Technical Advisors to film productions, but it is not uncommon for people to have the position of Technical Advisor in the computer industry, for example when a company needs knowledge or advice from someone with past experience who is not directly involved in their development process. --Flata 21:21, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
