Bogan icon?

Rangers FC

"The Best" is played at
UEFA Cup defeat at CA Osasuna, footage of Rangers fans singing the additional lyrics^[2] led to the club being fined and censured by UEFA for the second year in succession.^[1]^[3] For this reason the club dropped "The Best" as the running out music, although it was later reinstated with warnings about the inserted words.^[1]

I do not see how the second part of the above can be removed from the article, given that:

It is the only part which is notable

It is the only part which is referenced (with, I think, high quality sources)

The motivations of Rangers-supporting editors are clear enough - but could some of the other individuals who have reverted perhaps explain their reasoning here? 90.200.240.178 (talk) 21:25, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have shrunk your inclusion that the song is a ‘slogan’ of these organisations. Only the first ref relates the slogan with the song. I have also shrunk your other inclusion in line with verifiable refs.Monkeymanman (talk) 16:00, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
