Tears away?
Bach music
The article says: "The father takes his son with him and his co-conspirators as he leaves the valley. The group sing the closing chorale from the Bach cantata (Ich will den Kreuzstab gerne tragen, BWV 56): Komm, o Tod, du Schlafes Bruder, Komm und führe mich nur fort; Da wischt mir die Tränen mein Heiland selbst ab (Come, O death, brother of sleep, come and lead me forth; my saviour himself shall wipe my tears away)." - For a bit more precision: the line "Komm, o Tod, du Schlafes Bruder, Komm und führe mich nur fort" is indeed from the closing chorale, however, "Da wischt mir die Tränen mein Heiland selbst ab" is from two other movements of the same cantata. Please check the cantata article which I now linked, and see how far you want to go into detail. At present it's wrong. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:44, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
