Mackenzie Astin and production of The Evening Star
From Mackenzie Astin wikipedia entry, with source behind needed: "During filming of The Evening Star, Mackenzie lost the top edge of his right ear in a car accident. Why didn't the father (Flap Horton) appear in the movie?
There doesn't seem to be any mention of the father (Flap Horton) in the writeup for this movie (which I haven't seen) so I'm curious (a) was Jeff Daniels offered a role here, and (b) how was Horton mentioned by the characters (if at all)? 198.2.104.242 (talk) 01:32, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
