original research
claims like ""Doin' the Cockroach" expresses notice that life seems cyclical and that no matter how much you try to change, no matter how exciting you try to be, you will end up in a rut." is pure original research. lets get objective here people! JoeSmack Talk 06:04, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- This may be pertinent in that it could be labeled as pure original research, but one of the leitmotifs or recurrent themes from Once Upon a Time in the West is rendered in electric guitar in the opening for Cowboy Dan.Sochwa (talk) 21:54, 7 December 2011 (UTC)]
Wrong Nicole Johnson
The Nicole Johnson who sung with Modest Mouse is not connected to Nicole Johnson Baker. The Nicole Johnson who sang on this album is the wife of Calvin Johnson. If anyone knows more about her than I would love to see a wiki page about her. --Rubiksphere 04:55, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Is it notable?
I sense a somewhat "anti-mall" theme throughout the album, including the title. Should this be added or no? --George The Man 19:09, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- That'd be a great addition to the article if you can find some good cites for it.76.22.70.177 06:28, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

New Genres
Someone added a bunch of genres a few months ago... Is this album really alt-country, midwest emo, and post-hardcore? 67.185.17.75 (talk) 05:09, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
