Hilda's triumph is because she has inspired Halvard, notwithstanding his fear of heights, to get to the top and not because he fell. So: changed "starts the climb" to "gets to the top" to allow this interpretation. It's not spelled out in the play so I haven't spelled it out here. Strange wording in the phrase "his return to Norway from Europe". Surely Norway is already in Europe. Perhaps it should say "elsewhere in Europe" or "elsewhere on the Continent." 2.28.151.183 (talk) 14:51, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
