Needs updating with radio show

This and other articles on TV need to be updated to mention the radio show that predated the TV show. The Real McCoys aired on ABC radio in the USA from 1957 through 1962 and also on CBS radio in 1963. Many old TV shows are re-writes of the earlier radio shows. The McCoy's hired Mexican hand was Pepino, played by Tony Martinez. Tony Martinez was in the movie Rock Around the Clock (1956) and was an awesome xylophone player and lead er of a really cool jazz band.

Yes she was...but not in the show; Luke is never explicitly said to be a widower, but it is implied. In the final season, he is known to have been "previously married", but although he could have been divorced from Kate, he was much more likely to have been a widower considering the conservative bent of the program and the social stigma connected with divorce in that day and age.

The current Article says, "Nolan left the series in a contract dispute and was written out of the remaining scripts." The Kathleen Nolan bio page says, "On February 23, 1961, she was thrown from a horse and injured during the filming of an episode. She then missed four months of work and was "in and out of the hospital many times" before returning to the series to perform in the episode broadcast on June 15, 1961. Nolan left The Real McCoys prior to its final season (1962-1963)." Her bio says nothing about a contract dispute and the Real McCoys Article says nothing about the serious injury. Could the injury have been the reason for leaving the show? (Could the injury have been part of a contract dispute?) Regardless, should either or both Articles be reconciled to be more complete and in closer agreement? AdderUser (talk) 12:02, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
