Word "Thoa" means village or in local language in details Thoa means a place of residence. Mehram Khan is the name of person who came here first. As AWAN's cam from west side ( From Afghanistan , Kandhar ) they have some impression of Khan name in history. Later on now in 2th Century this trend got change and people stop using Khan with there names.

In History it say that there were 7 brothers , Mehram Khan ( came to Toha Mehran Khan ) Fateh Khan ( another village named as Perah Fateh Hall ) Sirtag Khan ( came to city Sakesar ) Aitabah Khan ( village name Idlaka near Talagang city ) Jahan Khan ( Village name Jhatlaa on his name ) Shair Khan ( lived with Mehram Khan ) Mohammad Khan ( Also lived with Mehram Khan )

Actually they are warriors in the history , specially Mehram Khan . Here we will talk about only Mehran Khan. There are about 26 tribes in this area but there are 4 major tribes in this area.

1- Sughwal , Also known as Sukhiyaal. one of the biggest tribe in area. Total papolution of this tribe is about 4000. They are are very well known as fughters. Most of people are not educated. 95% of this tribe are living in village. They are residing in southern area of village. They are known as Sukhiyaal because of Surkhroo Khan one of the name of there forefathers. They are very well known as good fighters. They forfathers were involve in murders and killing of almost every tribe.

2-Mermahaal. This tribe is residing in north of village . they are well know in plotics of village. Sughwaal and mermahaal always stood side by side to each other. Mermahaal always got a very good support in local elections.

3-Aklaal. A land lord family in area. there grand father was very clever man . He took many lands of poor people of area and also with good relations in government offices. They are residing in west of village. Recently the leader Mumtaz Haider a very well known name in district.

Other tribes are not so famous they always follow there tribes , some tribes haev names becasue of there forfathers and some have because of there areas. Lie.

4.SAHALL. This tribe so large.He stay his lands.He is the very strong tribe.His vote is 1/2 in thoha mehram khan.But these people have a no leader.They votecast to Aqlall or Mermahall.These two Parties cash the vote and learn the money.
