John and Jack are actually the same person. John revisits the places of his youth and reminisces about his alter ego of the past. Why is this film labeled as a magical realist romantic comedy film? I really can't find anything magical or not likely to happen in it. The story played by Roberto Benigni is a bit non-sensical (surely not magical) but this is a comedy. Can someone help me to find the "magical realist" part in any other story?
