Posters

Okay, there are two posters that have been found that can be used in the article. They are Image:92poster.jpg and Image:Ultimate2008.jpg. The first is supposedly from the UFC Newsletter, while the later is from a reliable website called In Demand.com. Please discuss which one should be used in the article. Do not place your vote based on the one you like best. That will not be accepted. It should be based on the one that pasts the Fair use guidelines.

On looks I'd go with Image:Ultimate2008.jpg if there is nothing between them, it's not unusual to have multiple poster designs. A am however restoring the last up one as not having any image is bad for the article. --Nate1481 15:29, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This sometime happens, I thought to get a consensus so there is no edit war between them. The 92 is just a copy from the ultimate. The user just copied the license from mine, I'm not sure about his source. Does UFC have a newsletter?--WillC 19:52, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They have an e-mailing list, (I'm on it) and I think 'fight club' members get one, I'll see if I can find the last one I got about 92. --Nate1481 09:18, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Seeing the ultimate has a link to the website it came from, I guess that one would be the best to use, since the the other has no link and doesn't seem reliable.--WillC 03:40, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Can't find it so my have deleted it, I can see the logic in using the one with the most reliable origin as it's less likely to be challenged --Nate1481 10:12, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I don't really trust the user who uploaded 92. He deletes everyone of his messages and does not speak. You tell him about licenses and he still uploads without a license or source. You tell him to quit placing in the poster and he doesn't listen. So I don't believe his source. The website must be reliable for the poster to be accepted. I feel the UFC newsletter is a lie. I found another one of his images that said UFC Press package and it was an Elite XC poster.--WillC 10:29, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SUBMISSION BY FORREST?

i watched a clip of the fight i did NOT see ANY submission by Forrest. if he did submit why does the resuls listed on this page show rashad winning by TKO as compared to submission due to strikes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.137.92.174 (talk) 03:22, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mike Goldberg

During the tale of the tape for the main event Mike Goldberg stated that "Forrest Griffin has a 2 lb reach advantage". That stuff should be put in the article as trivia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.252.199.148 (talk) 15:49, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
