• "Uganda finished tied for ninth among African countries for total gold medals and 69th overall" Two problems with that sentence. First, Uganda won no gold medals, and second, don't use different number formats in one sentence for the same measurement.
• "Uganda's first in Paralympic competition" A bit ambiguous as to whether this was Uganda's first medal or their first specifically silver medal.
• The last ref already supports it, so I'd add his silver from the Athletics at the 2015 African Games as you introduce him; to clarify this was not totally unexpected from him (and might be why he got that wild card, even, a medal at continental level is nothing to sneeze at.(
