Apologies
...but how exactly can this be considered an unimportant subject in American history? Part of true scholarship is to properly distinguish what is important from what is not. Does this project does not include experts in US and western history? If so, how does it justify concluding that the description of this nefarious chapter in US intelligence hisory—and the various policy and legislative ramifications of the publicised discoveries of CIA actions, before and after—a low priority? These questions come from individual generally sympathetic to the role that intelligence agencies play in modern political life. 2601:246:CA80:3CB5:C485:7DF3:E0C4:3C40 (talk) 22:01, 6 January 2019 (UTC)
Why no findings or recommendations?
This article provides only an overview and provides minimal data people would actually be interested in finding related to it's topic. I think information regarding the findings would be appropriate as it would be similar to other articles. Sephiroth storm (talk) 15:42, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Rewrite
Made significant addition to the article, significantly increased its size. Didn't remove anything major but added new info on the background, investigation, and aftermath, especially relating to the Church Committee. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sonicdoughboy (talk • contribs) 12:12, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
