I can't remember the exact figures right now, but I believe it's wrong to call it a "nuisance" when some 80% of the population is happy about the Vinmonopolet service. (Whoops: Marstr2 13:52, 23 December 2006 (UTC))[reply]

It should perhaps be added that one of the main criticisms against Vinbladet has to do with the fact that there is a general ban on alcohol advertisements in Norway, which Vinmonopolet seems to sidestep with its publication. In particular, breweries primarily producing beer for sale in regular stores (less than 4,7% ABV), have complained that their products are at an unfair disadvantage in the marketplace, since they cannot advertise in the same way.
