Birth

According to his Wikipedia page, J. M. Coetzee was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Recently edits have gone back and forth over wherther this novel was written by a south-African born author or a north-African born author. Why the confusion? --ErinHowarth (talk) 16:15, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
