TV
Wasn't there a TV program which had this song as a opening song? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.154.8.84 (talk) 13:30, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
there is also a song by system of a down called "War?". Even if you include the question mark, it would redirect to this page. i don't know how to put the little "this article is about the song by The Temptations. For the System of a Down song called "War?", go to this page." at the top.
If anyone puts up a 'trivia' section up, or something of that sort, you could possibly include the fact that it was used in the FPS Battlefield Vietnam? --202.124.104.192 05:22, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
The Slovenian industrial band Laibach covers this song as well. Their version's chorus goes "War, what is it good for?" followed by a verse that sarcastically states such things as "mobilization, science, religion" and a different verse that states "IBM, CNN, Newsweek", etc.
no reason for the lyircs to be on this page.

Public domain?
Somebody added that "The song is now public domain." - I find this hard to believe for such a recent song so I deleted it, but if it's true it needs adding back in with a citation. — sjorford++ 14:34, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
I believe this song was used as the theme for this series. Is that mentioned? Should it be?--T. Anthony (talk) 07:22, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Backing Singer disagreement (Edwin Starr version)
The second paragraph (as of this point in time) under 'Edwin Starr version' says 'The Undisputed Truth' backed him vocally, while the 'Personal' section under 'Edwin Starr version' says 'The Originals' backed him vocally. At least one of them is clearly wrong; neither is cited. I'd fix it if I knew which one was correct; I'm putting this here to hopefully draw the attention of someone who does. Gulliver's Travels
This song was sung in the movie Gulliver's Travels, if it's worth mentioning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.217.230.157 (talk) 01:19, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
