While I understand that the two buildings are very much linked, I've added a link to the New Wardour Castle article, to distinguish it from Old Wardour Castle.

Name

Why was this aricle renamed from Old Wardour Castle to Wardour Castle? The majority of the article concerns the old castle with links to a separate article, wrongly called Wardour New Castle. The official names are Old Wardour Castle and Wardour Castle respectively according to Historic England. I propose that both articles be renamed properly. Emile Campbell-Browne

There are repeated attempts to get this gentleman's name into a number of unlikely articles. Apart from an alleged reference in a guide book, no page given, there are no non-wikipedia references to him on the internet. For someone who was supposed to have invented barbed wire, lemon meringue pie and been an expert on penguins, discovering a new species, albeit one unknown even now to other zoologists, and co-director of a major zoo, he has left zero trace on the public record. I do not believe this person existed. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 07:12, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
